One trans guy who's had personal experience of this route will talk about his experiences, and the type  surgery performed by Professor Monstrey’s team in Gent, Belgium. Want to learn more about the process and possibilities? Come and join us. There will be time for a Q and A after the presentation.

Pre- Meeting Haircuts: Fancy a new look? Why not get your hair done by a professional who's also a trans guy? We know getting a new cut can be stressful so if you fancy a change or need a trim, why not come along and get yours done by someone who'll listen to what you want and treat you right? He'll be around between 5 and 6 - no set fee but donations gratefully received.

Dr Richard Curtis is a GP specialist working with trans people and Lena Andersson is a surgeon performing chest reconstruction surgery. They will talk about the work they do and are willing to answer all your questions.

NOVEMBER: ANNUAL FTM LONDON INVITE THE SOFFAs MEETING

Do your family (blood relative or otherwise), partner, friends and allies want to meet others who have trans masculine people in their lives? Maybe they'd like to say hi to more FTMs... This is the time when we open up the meeting to others to talk about how we relate to each other. Extra special refreshments and as always, lots of thought around making the space feel safe for everyone.

Where are these monthly meetings? Our usual Camden Venue (see 'How to find us' section of this site for more info)
What time? 6.00 for a 6.30 Start

• Tuesday 16 September 2008 Mid Month Meal                                                                                       Meet Joe in Charing Cross BR station at 7pm. We are usually a small group and we find some where cheap to eat and to chat. Phone the FTM London phone if you are thinking of coming. 
  
• Saturday 11 October International Trans Demo (Time and venue to be confirmed)                   This demo took place in Paris, Barcelona and Madrid last year. This year the organisers hope it will take place in Coruña, Bilbao, Donosti, Zaragoza, Madrid, Paris and London. The theme will probably be focused on the revision of DSM IV.
