Saturday 3rd - FTM London haven't planned anything extra by our own accord this year for Pride, but feel free to join in with any open activities happening on the day. The parade is set to move from Baker Street at 1pm. We'll be set up in the parade by 12:30, for those of you who want to congregate beforehand, we'll be meeting at a nearby cafe from 11am- Cafe Teo (54 Baker Street, Marylebone London, W1U 7BU). Pride will inform us of who we'll be walking beside a week before the event, then we'll pass the message on (we'll definitely be walking with other trans groups). For more information on events/the route/themes go to http://www.pridelondon.org/3rdjuly
The evening meeting will start at 7pm, but will be more relaxed than usual - a chance for a general chat and some post Pride snacks. We can talk about anything from Pride, to transition, to legal issues.
Looking ahead, 2012 is World Pride Day so we want to make it as big as possible for the Trans community and plan early. We've already started to discuss it with Trans London and Spectrum London. Any ideas would be welcome.
