our meetings
We meet on the first Saturday of the month in central Everyone has their own journey, background and desires. As a group we aspire to embrace and understand the infinite possibilities of gender expression. If you are new to the group you may just want to be around others like you; perhaps if you transitioned some time ago you might be looking to keep in touch with your community. Our meetings are also a great way of finding out what’s going on around town and beyond that is relevant to our trans lives. From arts festivals to policy initiatives, the meetings help members to keep up to date with current events. Naturally, we have the expectation that anyone attending our meetings will treat the space, and those in it, with acceptance and respect. Our meeting space is accessible and we are committed to welcoming members regardless of their background in terms of race, disability, age, nationality or financial situation, at the least. Please note that we have a strict confidentiality policy at FTM London, so please don’t bring any cameras or voice recording equipment to any of our meetings. If there are any occasions where we are doing a specific project which requires these things, we’ll let you know in advance, and we will draw up an agreement before it’s used. This is so we can be sure all members of the group have the control as to what is taken regarding them, including any details about them, and what happens to that in the future.
