In November 2007 we opened up our meeting to SOFFAs (that's significant others, friends, family and allies). The meeting was well attended with many of the FTM London SOFFAs saying that they too would like the opportunity to have a network or meeting space of their own.
There is now a safe space for parents, siblings, friends and allies of FTMs to come together and talk about their experiences at the same time and venue as the group meetings. The SOFFAs group has its own entry door and is held totally separately from the FTM London meeting.
The meeting is open to any family member, friends, partner, ally of an FTM or someone who thinks they might be, who wishes to chat with others.
